Family. Hoops. Nerd Games.
Bourbon. Great Personalities. Tattoos. You Know The Usual.

TLDR: I'm not one to follow conventional rules so instead of ending my website with a recap, I'm starting with one. First Jesus is my Lord and Savior. That is the foundation of my life.
I believe tattoos are a great way for at storytelling, especially when they are skillfully done, and I can tell you by experience that a good Bourbon is the perfect night cap to a long day. My wife, Kristy, and my son, Jordan, are my reason for life (and my gray hair). 3-pointers and dunks that go hard in the paint make me lose my voice because, you know, basketball is life. I'm a gamer with a DIY, four-player, arcade system who is trying to save the world one skill shot at a time. My Celebrity doppelgänger is Ryan Reynold's because of my personality (he WISHES he could look as good as me! well... he would if he knew who I was). Finally, I'm blessed to be co-owner of a company that allows me to help other businesses be successful by doing something I love- creating unique and captivating websites and making damn good bourbon and whiskey.

Family.

Family is not just everything, it’s my world. Shit, family is my whole damn universe, the reason I wake up in the morning every day! When I count my blessings, it's easy I just count to three. Once for my wife, the woman with a great soul and mind who has captured my heart; once for my Son, my mini me, who gives me hope for the future; and once for my mom, sister, brother, aunts, uncles (etc) who have pushed me and believed in me my whole life! Oh, and don’t forget the puppy doggers! My dogs MJ and Pippen remind me about meaning of unconditional love on a daily basis!

Hoops.

Basketball was my first love (sorry Wifey-Boo) and I am an absolute fanatic about the sport. I will cheer for my Indiana Pacers and IU Hoosiers at the top of my lungs (and I am loud, like really loud. Ask the neighbors) until that clock hits 0! I played college basketball, for Heritage Baptist University and High School ball for Center Grove High School. I played forward and would transition to guard from time to time, whatever the team needed. Maybe that’s why I am a good at this thing called life, because at a young age I learned to go hard in the paint!

Nerd Games.

I love old school arcade games. No, seriously, I LOVE them. I mean, I even built a four-player arcade in my home so I can play all of my childhood favorites! I don’t entirely live in the past, though, I also enjoy Games like Dungeon World and Dungeons & Dragons, you know the OG of nerd games. The current video games that I play are “Heroes of the Storm” and “Apex Legends.” I may be a business owner and family man by day, but by night I’m a superhero trying to save Nexus and World’s Edge from evil doers!

Bourbon.

When it comes to Bourbon, I am an old-fashioned or neat kinda guy. I fancy myself somewhat of a bourbon connoisseur and love hosting tastings for my friends. There is nothing more rewarding than good aged bourbon at the end of the day, but when push comes to shove any whiskey will do the trick. For me, though, Hashtag Bourbon is my drink of choice. I could tell you all the reasons why I love this barrel strength liquid of the heavens, but I’ll save that for another day. Just trust me when I say that we didn't craft this bourbon for nothing, we turned down over 60 different mash bills and kept working at it until we got it #Perfect.

MY PERSONA

You know what I really, really enjoy? A person who has a nice Personality. The kind of personality that turns heads, demands attention, and radiates with confidence and charm. I’m talking about personalities that are well-rounded, impossible to ignore, and proudly say, “Yep, I’m here.” Extra credit if they come in pairs, work nicely together, and leave a memorable and long lasting impression after they have left the room. If your personality could pull off a superhero cape and make people smile without saying a word, then we should be friends already!

What is sexier than some body art? No, I don’t mean the ones that look like the artist fell asleep in the middle of the session or the ones that look like they were done by a 5 year old. I am talking about real pieces of art! Like the well-designed and carefully-thought out tattoos. As you probably guessed, I have one on the middle my back roughly 10 inches tall. It is a Cross with the inscription, “Rest in Peace My Father,” and “Live For Him” written across the cross. My wife has 3 and one of those is a full back-piece that she has been trying to get finished for years. My son recently got his first tattoo, life is good.

Deadpool is my Spirit Animal. Don’t mind those who say adults shouldn’t believe in superheroes, those people sound kinda boring to me. Some things about me mirror Deadpool to a “T,” like my rippling biceps. And at times my attitude, demeanor, and dark sense of humor can easily pass for Ryan Reynolds. Oh alright fine, I mean, I’m not too sure I know how to do all that fancy stuff with a katana, but hey, ‘wait ’til you get a load of me.’

I am the owner of both Circle City Digital and Hashtag Bourbon and I LOVE what I do for a living. Circle City Digital is a web design and digital marketing company, and Hashtag Bourbon, well me make some damn delicious bourbon and whiskey! The reason why I do what I do, and why I do it so passionately, is because I have a “why.” My family, I do it all for them. I’ve gone through the “growing pains,” and that’s why I firmly believe there is no lucky guesses in my process. So, in the name of the game, shall we have a drink and talk about website creativity?
